St. Vincent De Paul Hospital “A home for the sick people who are treated towards life” The hospital is focused on delivering diligent care to the poorer sections of the society. Our hospital is a Christian minority institution which was established by the Nirmala Province of the CMC. In 1982 Archbishop Mar Joseph Kundukulam inaugurated and initiated its journey.
Years before, our institution started as a small health centre with 20 beds this slowly grew up to the present. Currently, it is a 100 bedded hospital with Operation theatre, ICU, Laboratory, X-Ray, 24 hours Casualty, Scanning centre and many more. The institution has been working as the cradle for the needy. In 2007 we celebrated our Silver Jubilee. We are focused to deliver standardized nursing care, nursing education, palliative care and health educations to the residents of this area.
St. Vincent De Paul Hospital has been committed to excellence of care for sick people irrespective of
caste, creed or religion since its existence in 1982. Today health care has grown beyond our
imagination. The trends and technologies in health care are transforming medical services at a rapid
pace. The challenge is to continue providing quality health care at an affordable cost despite the
ever increasing cost of equipments and medical staff.
At St. Vincent De Paul Hospital, we are united in our determination to continue our steady
efforts so that we can provide highly advanced affordable medical care that is safe, secure and
supportive and in a manner that rises up to the expectations of patients and the wider community,
based on the ethics of medical care, medical science and nursing.
A team of talented, caring doctors, competent, compassionate nurses, skillful technical and
support staff are working together with a holistic approach to provide the best possible medical and
nursing care. Our Surgeons are talented and committed, supported by a highly qualified Anesthesia
Team. I am sure with well equipped operation theaters, laboratories, imaging facilities, Pharmacy
and Critical care Units, St. Vincent De-Paul Hospital will provide every patient the very best of
medical care.
We are introducing innovative ideas to train our students- nursing and allied health workers -
to be competent, socially relevant and filled with the passion to serve in the Spirit of Christ, and
the heavenly Patron, St.Vincent De Paul. Our vision is to bring hope and healing with the love of
Christ to the people.
It's quite a real challenge to keep pace with the fast growing technology and rapid advancement
in Health Care. The challenge is well accepted to provide quality health care while retaining the
values amongst our committed Medical, Nursing and Paramedical Staff. We will continue to strive for
excellence and any contribution made would help the humanity. We care to cure with a holistic
approach!
